RHYTHM and blues maestro Spencer Davis is the special guest of Animals & Friends at the City Hall later this month.

You can expect all the Spencer Davis classics such as Gimme Some Lovin’ and Keep on Running as well as Animals hits such as Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood and the cover of Bob Dylan’s House of the Rising Sun that became the band’s anthem.

The line-up of Animals & Friends, includes two members from the original band – John Steel and Micky Gallagher – who are joined by John E Williamson and Peter Barton.

Animals & Friends play on Wednesday, November 25.

Rhythm and blues of a different kind can be heard next Tuesday at the City Hall as Naturally 7 show off their vocal talents.

Drawing together gospel, doo-wop, beat-boxing and soul rhythm and blues, Naturally 7 not just provide the lyrics, melodies and harmonies, but every musical instrument possible to create a fantastic wall of sound.
