War artist competition

PEOPLE who want to enter the Serving War Artist of the year competition have just a few weeks to get their entries in. The competition, sponsored by Aspire Defence, is open to all ranks of the British Regular and Territorial Army.

Art work can be in any medium and does not necessarily have to be of a military subject.

The competition will be judged at the private view of the Army Arts Society Annual Exhibition and Chemring Painting Competition to be held in The Young Gallery, Salisbury Library on November 2.

Entry forms and conditions of entry can be downloaded from the Army Arts Society’s website at armyartssociety.org . First prize is £300, second £150.
