STAGE ’65 Youth Theatre in Salisbury announced the winners of its 2012 awards at a special event held at the Playhouse on Sunday.

The young people involved in the group were awarded both for their roles in the limelight and for all their hard work behind the scenes.

The winners were:

Top of the Class Award - The award for the most enthusiastic, best behaved, most helpful and most dedicated member of a workshop group:

Groups 1 & 2 – Ruby Shipway.

Group 3 – Joe Walker

Group 4 – Bliss Winder

Group 5 & 6 – Ella Dunlop

Breakthrough Artist Award - The award for a person who has joined Stage ’65 since September 2011; having made the most effort to become a real asset to the Youth Theatre: Adam Filipe.

Light up the Stage Award  - The award for the best member of a Technical team from any of our three Stage ’65 productions: Seb Vidal

Dressed to the 9s Award   - The award for the best member of a Wardrobe team from any of our three Stage ’65 productions: Corrie Thompson.

Happy Chappy Award - The award for the friendliest and most welcoming member of Stage ’65: Ryan Cooper.

Stealing the Limelight Award  - The award for the most hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic member of a production ensemble or project: Natasha Patel.

Going Viral Award - The award for the best member of a Wardrobe team from any of our three Stage ’65 productions: Beth Cooper.

In the Shadows Award - The award for the best member of a Stage Management team from any of our three Stage ’65 productions: Holly Wingfield.

Shining Light Award - The award for the person who has given outstanding contribution to Stage ’65 Youth Theatre: Denis Twomey.

Spotlight Prize - The award for the best actor in a Stage ’65 performance or project in this age category:

Groups 1 & 2 – Lulu Lamb

Group 3 –Jack Lamb

Group 4 – Megs Slark

Groups 5 & 6 – Hannah Waterfall.
