MUSICAL Theatre Salisbury (formerly Salisbury Amateur Operatic Society) has presented four of its members with long service awards.

Lizzie Coxon-Tenty received an award for ten years and Alison Babey for 40 years during the group’s annual dinner dance at the Milford Hall Hotel.

Two more members who are due to receive their long service awards this year are Fionne Harrington (ten years) and Jessica Gunney (35 years).

Over the past 12 months Musical Theatre Salisbury has enjoyed a sell out production of the Sound of Music and a successful musical celebration of the works of Gilbert and Sullivan.

Their next production is one of the greatest family stories of all time, The Wizard of Oz. Rehearsals are well under way and this colourful, entertaining production is being staged at The City Hall from December 4 to 8.
