An Elizabethan performance

Lute player Isidoro Roitman together with reader Diana Cruickshank will perform poems, prose, dance and music from the Elizabethan period next Wednesday at St Thomas' Church in Salisbury.
The programme entitled The Honie-suckle and the Nightingale will feature music by Anthony Holborne and starts at 7.30pm.
Diana, who lives at Orcheston, is chairman of the Early Dance Circle, and on Saturday, May 17 directs the story of dance in period costume with music played on period instruments.
Isidoro will also be performing at this family show of Rostibolli dancing, under the title of Treasures of Terpsichore, which is being held at St Francis' Church Hall, again at 7.30pm. Further details of both events are available from Diana on 01980 620339.
