DODGY, the 90s group whose infectious hits include Staying Out For The Summer and Good Enough, played at The Rainbow on the Lake pub in Steeple Langford on Friday.

More than 300 people packed into the venue to hear the trio perform a semiacoustic set that included their well-known hits and more recent material.

They appeared at the pub ahead of their Back to Back tour, having reformed as a band and recorded a new album, Stand Upright in a Cool Place, last year.

Landlady of the Rainbow on the Lake, Louise Penny, was introduced by one of her regulars to Dodgy’s Mathew Priest, who lives in Dinton.

As a fan of the band, Louise asked Priest if they would consider performing and was delighted when they agreed.

Back in the mid-1990s Dodgy were regulars at music festivals and had several top ten hits.

Their come-back has created quite a stir and their tour this spring will take them to several cities including Leeds, Liverpool, Glasgow and Bristol.
