THE Langfords Acoustic Café will be holding its latest gig on Saturday, The event is held every two months in the village hall in Duck Street, Hanging Langford, and on the menu this weekend will be Ukulele Mike, Sean Rice, The Langfords, Hilary Pavey and Chico Holton.
The gigs are organised by Alexa MacKenzie and Mark Kenchinton, who make up psychedelic original country band The Langfords.
Mackenzie said: “The event is always very well attended. We get various folk/indie guitar/original songwriters etc in to play it.
“There are five acts per event and everyone brings their own drinks and snacks. It’s an atmospheric candle-lit affair.
Everyone plays for about 20 minutes each.
It's a great opportunity to play with acts we meet at other events, and also a great way to help keep the village hall busy.”
The event is held on the first Saturday of every second month.
