SALISBURY Live is holding a showcase event this Friday at Salisbury Rugby Club as the Eclectic Mix Part 2 gets the Easter weekend under way with a family all-dayer.
Featuring in the line-up are the Hopback Blues Band, Stone Donkey Pilots, Break Cover and Lump. Also performing are Kings of Lounge, The Hereafter and Chris Wynn.
The event gets under way at 3pm and entry is free.
On Sunday, The Winchester Gate will host a fundraising show for Children with Cancer UK. Lump, Johannasberg, Lily McCauley, Naomi Coombes, Dandelion & Burdock and Luke Hall are among the performers and the music will start at 4pm.
A group of Salisbury City FC fans will start cycling to the final game of the season at Chester, starting next Thursday, taking in about 220 miles to raise money for the same charity.
This weekend sees the return of Silent Disco to The Chapel Nightclub as a bank holiday Sunday once again plays host to the popular festival craze. Resident DJs at the city centre club, Darren Cee, DJ Future and Batman Beats will lock horns with Your Boyfriends Are DJs, Belko and Dil & Lew.
Entry is free before 11pm.
