F.U.R.S will appear in a free gig at The Music Box next week on Thursday, June 26 as they play a special Glastonbury warm-up show at the Catherine Street venue before appearing at the popular Pilton Farm festival. where they will be performing on BBC Radio One’s BBC Introducing Stage.

Wiltshire College Music Technology students have made an album as part of their final major project.

Their talent is showcased well on this multi genre release.

Project Nebulous can be heard at projectnebulous.bandcamp.com. Saturday sees their music performance associates put on an end-of-course gig at The Music Box. Terraform, Homeland, Old Boy and Eden Lake will all perform. Entry is £1 and doors open at 7pm.

* Many people flocked to Figheldean Playing Field last Saturday to make the second Figglefest a huge success. The Zuchinnis headlined the event, and many stayed to watch on screens as England took on Italy in their World Cup opener.

* Qudos will be the setting this Saturday for a welcome home event featuring live music for Something Silly In June, starting at 6pm.

A group of Salisbury fundraisers will be completing 300 miles in four days to raise money for Factor 50 while remembering the challenge founder, Steve Chalk, who last year lost his battle against melanoma. There will be a collection at the venue and you can follow their progress on Twitter @ssij_uk.
