FORMED 40 years ago this year, Squeeze took to the main stage to top the bill on Thursday night.
Former member Jools Holland was a regular success at the festival for years and his former band mates shone, playing their hits from through the decades.
The crowd were rewarded for waiting in the rain as the band left their best until last, playing hit after hit as the set reached its climax.
Friday’s scorching weather saw Hackney Colliery Band take to the stage to play their innovative brand of brass and marching music. They played popular classics in their own style, which saw them receive a great reception from the crowd. Thom Belk
