A SPECIAL weekend of holistic and musical treats will take place this week as Rest Festival once again gets under way in Rockbourne, writes Thom Belk.

The vision behind Rest Fest was to offer an event that would be family-friendly and good fun with great music, while also promoting lifestyle choices that are healthy, sustainable and positive.

Amongst those performing at the weekend are Dreamcatcher, Pachango, Stone Donkey Pilots, Fearne, Lily McCauley, above, and many more.

Rest would be an ideal introduction to festivals for beginners as it is an extremely safe environment in a beautiful setting. It’s also affordable with tickets priced at: £75-£80 for adults and £30-£35 for children. Under 5s are free. For more go to www.restfestival.co.uk.
