WORLD famous guitarist Lulo Reinhardt is to perform at Salisbury Arts Centre with his Latin Swing Project on September 19.
Reinhardt is known as one of the most prominent voices in Gypsy music.
Descended from a long line of musicians, he is the great-nephew of jazz legend Django Reinhardt and the nephew of violin master Shnuckenack Reinhardt.
Having been taught from the age of five, he was performing in the Mike Reinhardt sextet from the age of 12 and has continued to devote his life to music.
Performing a variety of styles, including flamenco, Latin and jazz, Reinhardt’s shows are always influenced by Gypsy music.
Rising star and fingerstyle guitarist Darren Hodge will be supporting him along with a band of international musicians.
Hodge will be making his return to the Arts Centre having previously performed a number of successful Live Lunch gigs there.
Lulo Reinhardt performs on September 19 at 8pm. Tickets are £14 with £12 concessions and are available from either salisburyartscentre.co.uk or through the box office on 01722 321744.
