AUDITIONS for the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain will be taking place in Blandford on October 4.

They take place annually between September and October, offering young musicians aged seven to 14 the opportunity to become part of one of the most highly-regarded orchestra’s in the UK.

Sir Simon Rattle, president of the NCO, said: “Since its inception, The National Children’s Orchestra has been making an outstanding contribution to the musical life of the country, encouraging excellence amongst our most promising instrumentalists.”
