WE recently visited your city especially to visit the beautiful cathedral, but unfortunately on our way to the pick-up point for our coach my husband fell ill.
I felt I must write to convey to your citizens how we were greatly helped by not one, but four ladies who took the time during their lunch break to offer assistance – even carrying a chair around.
Unfortunately, in the heat of the moment, we didn’t get their names.
I cannot stress how much their help meant to both my husband and me, but we were certainly left with a very good impression of your city.

THE Obstetrics & Gynaecology department at Salisbury Hospital would like to thank all the people who (in spite of the rain) turned out in support of the CT Scanner Campaign to the fun day on Saturday, August 17 at Wilton Scout hut. We managed to raise more than £900 for the Stars Appeal, and a great day was had by us all.

MANY thanks to the anonymous person who found my daughter’s wallet and handed it into Tesco on Wednesday/Thursday.
