ON Thursday, October 17, at approximately 10.20am, I skidded and fell off my bicycle along Devizes Road.
I would like to say a massive thank you from the bottom of my heart to the very kind and attentive people who came to my rescue.
I was bleeding and in a lot of pain from my shoulder, and your kindness was very much appreciated.
The ambulance service and the emergency department at Salisbury District Hospital were 100 per cent efficient and caring, and we are so very lucky to have such amazing, hard-working people working for the NHS. Thank you.

LAST Wednesday I was cycling home from the shops over the central car park when a gust of wind caught me and sent me flying.
I ended up in a heap, along with the bike and my groceries.
I was most fortunate in that four lovely people rushed over to me, picked up the bike, put the groceries back in the basket and checked that I had sustained no serious injuries.
They helped me to my feet, discovered that I lived nearby, and sent me off with their good wishes.
Unfortunately, I was a bit dazed and would not be able to recognise these good samaritans, so I would like to thank them through the Journal.
GILLIAN TEED, Salisbury
THANK you so much to the kind person who found and handed in my ring at Salisbury District Hospital on Friday, October 18.
KATHY GILL, Amesbury
