Restaurants are taking over the city

First published in Letters

I SEE that yet again another restaurant is opening along the library walk facing the Maltings.

Salisbury once used to be full of inns and pubs (lots of pubs). Now it’s gone the other way and is slowly becoming full of cafés and eateries.

You certainly won’t go hungry as a tourist visiting Salisbury, but you also won’t find Primark, Wilkinson’s or The Range stores like other cities have; just restaurants etc.
