majority of parking offences within the county being upheld, I am also aware of the Wiltshire Council commitment to do their best to reduce their emissions.
On Sunday, January 29, I was walking home along Salisbury Street in Amesbury when I witnessed the same Wiltshire Council parking services vehicle, twice. I waited by the roundabout and it appeared again, having apparently circled the town centre.
To deter illegal parking, which is a “yellow peril” on foot, is a must. But to have a roving vehicle circling the town is surely cheating and adding to the costly CO2 emissions while just annoying those who actually care about climate change.
Surely the council should continue to reduce its emissions and uphold parking restrictions.
Come on Wiltshire Council, be fair.
