Leehurst seeks former pupils

IN May 1914 the first school on the site of Leehurst House in Campbell Road, Salisbury, was officially opened. As part of our preparations to mark the centenary of this event in 2014 we are researching the history of the three schools from which Leehurst Swan today evolved.

We would be very pleased to hear from any former pupils of Leehurst Convent, The Swan School, and La Retraite, especially people from the early days of Leehurst and Swan, or members of their families who recall talk of school days there.

While many of you have been in touch in recent years, we are sure there are more memories, stories, photographs and artefacts out there that could add to our knowledge, and contribute to the small book that will be published for the centenary.
