Wild goose chase

I RECEIVED by post on January 15 a communication from Wiltshire Council dated January 13, concerning a planning application.
If I wanted to see the plans, which I did, I was to go to the offices in Milford Street. I did.
They were closed and notices on the window instructed me to go to Bourne Hill. I did.
There I was informed that Milford Street had been closed for six weeks!
How many other people have been sent on this wild goose chase, possibly coming from out of town, perhaps parking in Brown Street as the nearest, and paying the exorbitant parking charge, only to have my experience?
