Too many food outlets and not enough shops

I AM replying to the article in the Journal on January 30 about the plans for Nando’s in Salisbury.

This will be yet another food outlet in our town. We don’t need another choice of food outlet.

What we need is a choice of decent shops.

They say they want to enhance the shopping experience but the number of shops seems to be getting fewer.

We have a good mix of restaurants and cafés, coffee shops and charity shops.

No wonder people shop in Southampton or Bournemouth, which are both very busy, especially at weekends.
