Many thanks

MAY I say through your columns a very big thank you to all the people who helped me when my father had a fall on Wednesday, April 30 near the bus stop in Bishopstone.

In particular, thanks to a lady called Jackie who phoned for an ambulance and also the lady who was a nurse and the excellent paramedics.

These people restore one’s faith in human nature and we are so very grateful to them.

I am pleased to say my father is much better now.

Audrey Jennings, Bishopstone

I WOULD like to thank all of my family, friends, colleagues and patients who sent cards, flowers and gifts to celebrate my retirement.

It was all very kind of you.

Also thanks to all who arranged the wonderful party on April 30 at the Royal Oak in Devizes Road and to the pub for the wonderful food and reception they gave us.

I had a great time remembering the last 25 years working in the community of Salisbury and Wilton. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Denise Wells, Salisbury
