Let's do something positive for a change

WHAT is Wiltshire Council trying to do to Salisbury?

Brown Street as a coach park would be horrendous.

Traffic congestion is bad enough already – with coaches it would be absolute hell.

What is the matter with everyone? The obvious choice is the empty bus station – the toilets are there already, and all it needs is some TLC.

Can’t the people of Salisbury buy it and run it as a community project?

Come on, Salisbury – let’s do something right for a change.

Can we get pavements cleaned up please someone? I walk into town regularly and the pavement and seat outside Chickoland especially is really disgusting. The take-away food areas are unbelievable. I have traveled quite a bit and towns abroad often have proper cleaning machines to remove dirt and grease from pavements. We spend all this money on new paving and we look after it like a third world country. I despair of Salisbury at times I am sorry to say.
