No excuse for rubbish dumping

First published in Postbag

THIS rubbish, above, has been standing around in Malthouse Lane, to the rear of Fisherton Street for about three weeks now.

Rubbish is regularly dumped in this area and is clearly from residents.

On two previous occasions I have complained to Wiltshire Council and in fairness they have reacted.

It does beg a question or two.

Why can businesses be allowed to leave untidy bins etc in such prominent areas visited by many folk going to the Playhouse and City Hall? Does no one have any shame or respect for their city?

I have not yet advised Wiltshire Council of this latest episode.
