I WAS disappointed to read the mistaken belief that dignity in care must by invariably cost money (Journal, May 9), particularly as the nation is still reeling from the report by Sir Robert Francis QC into the disastrous care at Mid-Staffordshire Hospital.

GIVEN that the roads in Wiltshire resemble cart tracks, can someone tell me why Wiltshire Council (Where Everybody Matters), is spending what must be thousands of pounds replacing perfectly good road signs on the A30 in this area? Surely a better use of resources could be found.
