Downton Easter egg hunt
CHILDREN in Downton joined together in the hunt for delicious Easter eggs on Monday.
They were taking part in the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Moot and collected 3,000 eggs that were hidden in the sunken lawn.
The youngest children were allowed to look for the eggs first and then the older ones joined in the fun and they found all the eggs in about 15 minutes.
Lots of the children had big bag-fulls of chocolate and said they had a fantastic time collecting the brightly coloured eggs.
