Jason Donovan to perform at fun day

EIGHTIES pop sensation and soap star Jason Donovan will be amongst the performers taking to the stage at this year's Wiltshire Crimestoppers annual family fun day.

Same Difference, Kavana, Blazin' Squad, Ray Quinn, Hope and Darren John will also be entertaining the crowds at the event, to be held at Bowood House and gardens in August.

Children will be able to enjoy the bouncy castles, quad bikes, go karts and helicopter rides, while adults browse through the craft fair and admire the classic cars.

A variety of catering outlets will provide a variety of food throughout the day, from burgers and hot dogs to leisurely cream teas, which are served in the attractive gardens.

Malcolm Keene, Wiltshire Crimestoppers Chairman, said: "This day promises yet again to be an action packed fun filled day out for the whole family. We do have something for everyone, so make sure you arrive early so as not to miss anything.

The doors open at 10am on August 31 and the event, at Derry Hill, Calne, runs until 6pm.

Tickets are available on the day and cost £9 for adults and £6 for children, however if you order via the ticket hotline 0845 230 5177 there will be a discount of 50p per ticket.

A Family ticket can only be purchased prior to the event, at a cost of £25 for two adults and two children.
