Children take part in charity 'mathathon'
YOUNG brainboxes in Salisbury are hoping to raise cash for charity by taking part in a national "mathathon" next month.
The challenge is to see how many sums they can do in ten minutes and has been organised by the Kumon Centre, a national organisation offering after-school maths tuition.
It is open to all children and those taking part can decide which children's charity they would like to support.
The mathathon takes place on June 3 and 6.
For further information contact Marie Gibb on 01722 716110 or email andoverandsalisbury@kumoncentre.co.uk.
