Sinclair joins the Whites
SALISBURY City boss Nick Holmes has confirmed that Rob Sinclair has become the club's first summer signing.
The midfielder, who spent three months at the end of last season with the Whites on loan from Luton Town, will become a full-time player at the Ray Mac from July 1.
Sinclair initially joined the Whites on a two-month loan at the end of the January 2008 transfer window, linking up with his Hatters team mate Ed Asafu-Adjaye.
A regular in Luton's youth and reserve team, the 18-year-old signed pro forms at Kenilworth Road after impressing then manager Kevin Blackwell.
He made his Salisbury debut in the 1-0 away win at Northwich Victoria on February 9.
Like team-mate Asafu-Adjaye, he quickly established himself as a popular player with City supporters and after extending his loan spell, went on to make 16 appearances for the club scoring twice - one of his goals being the winner in City's Wiltshire Premier Shield final victory against Swindon Town.
Holmes discusses the transfer in the latest Whites On Camera feature which will appear on this site tomorrow (Friday).
