Amesbury teen gets new wheelchair
A TEENAGER from Amesbury with Cerebral Palsy has received donation worth over £3000 from the national charity Caudwell Children.
Wayne Day, 18, who attends Exeter House Special School in Salisbury, received a Cougar wheelchair after applying to the charity for support.
His mum said: "The wheelchair has made a huge difference to Wayne's life. This new chair really makes life a lot easier and if Wayne is comfortable it means we can both enjoy our time together even more."
The wheelchair was donated to the Day family by Caudwell Children, a charity that provides direct donations of specialist equipment, treatment and therapy for the sick and disabled children across the UK.
Parents wanting information on the support available from Caudwell Children can call 08453001348 or visit www.caudwellchildren.com.
