Ringwood student takes part in walk

RINGWOOD School Sixth Form student Katherine Fleckney was among hundreds who took to the streets in the 20km London Night Walk.
The event, in its fourth year, supports Big Issue vendors.
Katherine said: “Participating in the Big London Night Walk gave me the opportunity to hear the vendors’ stories and witness for myself the work that The Big Issue does.
“I am grateful to have never experienced homelessness myself. We are currently the only school who participate, and I feel it’s important to inform students about those whose lives are less fortunate.”
