DARTS players from Salisbury raised £2,000 to help seriously ill children.
The players handed over a cheque to Naomi House children’s hospice for the amount, as well as donating to the Stars Appeal Pembroke Unit at Salisbury District Hospital.
Pam Bacon from Naomi House said: “This was a most unexpected and welcome surprise from the summer darts league players. We are extremely grateful to everyone who collected such a fantastic amount of money over the season and we cannot thank everyone enough for their generosity.”
The players from around the Salisbury District collected loose change from pub-goers after their weekly matches throughout the summer season.
