A TEAM effort from four Salisbury City fans raised £2,008 for The Piam Brown Ward at Southampton General Hospital.
Charlie’s Cycling Circus handed a cheque to the ward’s fundraising officer, Suzie Simmons, during Salisbury’s clash at the Ray Mac against Hayes & Yeading United on October 30.
The group raised money for the ward by pedalling to Woking and back before Salisbury’s FA Cup tie with Hayes on October 6.
Organiser Stuart Cannell said: “It was a fantastic and generous response from everyone who contributed to such a brilliant charity. “Everyone should watch out for more charity rides from Charlie’s Cycling Circus.”
