Durrington Funday supports Scout hut appeal
MONEY raised at this year’s Durrington Sunday Funday is being used to fund a Scout hut. The 2nd Bulford Scout Group collected a cheque of £1,100 from the event’s organising team at a presentation evening on November 2.
The group has also received a grant to help boost funds for the hut, which will be built in Bulford. Organising committee chairman Emma Spencer said: “The event exceeds our expectations every year, and it just gets bigger and better.
“I’d like to thank everyone for their help, which makes donations like this possible.”
The third Durrington Sunday Funday was held on August 26.
