PEOPLE can try their hand at some traditional crafts at Old Wardour Castle with some special workshops this month.
On Saturday visitors can join an English Heritage expert on a Fungi Forage and Nature Walk, learning more about the diverse flora and fauna at the site.
The following Saturday, November 24, people can prepare for the festive season with a Christmas Wreath workshop, led by members of Tisbury Flower Group. Those taking part will explore the castle grounds to collect their choice of foliage before learning about different techniques used to make wreaths and creating their own to take home.
The nature walk is from 11am to 2pm, the wreath making workshop is 9am to noon or 1pm to 4pm. Both cost £20 per person or £16 for members and booking is essential. Call 0870 333 1183 to book or go to english-heritage.org.uk/oldwardour.
