Firefighters honoured at awards ceremony

HAMPSHIRE Fire & Rescue Service celebrated the achievements of staff and external partners at its annual awards ceremony last night.
More than 200 guests attended the event at the Winchester Guildhall to honour those who have supported the service over the past year. The service’s seventh annual event was hosted by Wave 105’s Steve Power and attended by a number of local dignitaries.
Chief Officer John Bonney presented an array of awards including long service and good conduct medals.
