The Rickshaw Challenge team
THE BBC’s The One Show was broadcast live from Salisbury yesterday as part of Children in Need’s Rickshaw Challenge.
A team of six fundraising youngsters are cycling a rickshaw on a 411-mile journey from Llandudno to London with presenter Matt Baker, and arrived in Salisbury via Amesbury having cycled from Bath.
Speaking to the Journal yesterday, Baker said: "It is a very different form of fundraising. I'm so incredibly proud of them. They're growing in confidence and supporting each other along the way. We couldn't do it without each other."
Each team member is currently supported by or has previously been supported by Children in Need projects.
