Cathedral School boys selected for Wessex Rugby squad

Peter Folkes, Ben Harding, Alex Tan, Harry Henderson and Freddie Axford triumphed against competition from 10 schools in the surrounding area, winning five places in the final squad.

The boys will now take part in various fixtures against secondary school under 14 teams.

Gary Slade, head of boys’ games at the school, said: “I am extremely proud of these boys. Playing with the Wessex squad will develop their talent still further and I look forward to seeing them achieve even greater success in the future.”
