Boyband District 3 to switch on Christmas lights

BOYBAND District 3 from ITV’s X Factor will be switching on Salisbury’s Christmas lights next Thursday.

The three-piece harmony band, comprising Dan Ferrari-Lane, Micky Parsons and Greg West, will take to the stage in the Market Place with Father Christmas at about 6.45pm.

The group was voted off X Factor last week following a sing off with Union J. After the switch on event, which starts at 6pm, District 3 will be heading to the Chapel nightclub at 7.30pm for a meet and greet.

Claire Burden, from Salisbury City Council, said: “This is a great result for the city to secure District 3 and we look forward to welcoming them to the stage on the night, it is also great that the Chapel will host the official Christmas lights switch on after party and everyone will get a chance to meet District 3 and have their pictures taken.”

The Chapel will also be welcoming Booty Luv to the after party and have DJs to get the party going.
