FUTURE foodies have been showing off their skills in a competition run by Salisbury Rotary Club.
The club’s Young Chef Competition saw 10 students from local schools slicing, dicing and sautéing for the chance to progress to the regional and national stages of the contest.
The winner was Jasmine Thayer from South Wilts School, with Jayden Allen from Wyvern College taking the runner-up spot.
Judges Nick Paffett of Forking Out and Adam Kinghorn from Chartwells congratulated all the competitors and said that the standard of cuisine being served up was better than ever.
