MACMILLAN Cancer Support’s mobile service is coming to Salisbury on Friday, November 30.

The team of specialists will welcome anyone with a question or concern about cancer, no matter how small, for a confidential chat, or to pick up some information leaflets.

No appointment is required and all information provided is free.

Amanda Cummins, Macmillan mobile cancer information and support specialist, said: “As treatments improve, more and more people are living with cancer in their daily lives.

“They need more than medical help, they also need practical, emotional and financial support, which the mobile team can provide. Cancer is the toughest fight many people will ever face, if you have any worries or questions about anything to do with cancer, whether it’s about yourself, a relative or friend, come and talk to our Macmillan information specialists face-to-face. It’s free and completely confidential.”

The mobile unit will be open from 9.30am to 4.30pm and will be positioned outside the Guildhall. If you cannot visit the centre but have questions about cancer, you can ask Macmillan for free on 0808 808 0000 or log on to macmillan.org.uk.
