YEAR 3 pupils from Fordingbridge Junior School have begun their Second World War project, and spent a night at the school experiencing what it might have felt like to be an evacuee.
Learning support assistants Kathy Wallace and Jan Elkins joined in the fun. Between them they have given about 30 years’ service to the school and this would have been their fourth or fifth voluntary Second World War sleepover.
