A DAY of festive family fun will be taking place on Sunday, December 2 at the River Bourne Community Farm in Laverstock, when it holds its Christmas fair.

Visitors can pick up a Christmas gift from the gift and produce stalls, choose from a selection of Christmas wreaths and trees of all sizes, and enjoy seasonal refreshments.

For children there will be a fairground ride, games such as hook a duck, hoopla and skittles, plus candy floss and popcorn for sale and lucky dip in the Christmas grotto.

Mulled wine will be available and the farm will be running an all day barbecue, cooking sausages produced from the farm’s traditional breed pigs.

Fresh farm-reared lamb and pork will also be on sale and the farm shop will be open selling local produce and the farm’s eggs.

The day is from 10am to 4pm.
