THE Force will be with scores of Star Wars fans tomorrow as they gather in Fordingbridge.

Farthest From, a show dedicated to Star Wars vintage toys and collectibles, is being organised by classic toy enthusiast David Tree from All the Cool Stuff in High Street.

He has invited two special guests, Star Wars super collectors Gus Lopez and Duncan Jenkins, who will be coming to the UK for their first book signing.

They will be promoting their latest book, Gus & Duncan's Guide To Star Wars Cast & Crew Items. Their two previous books, the hefty 984-page Gus & Duncan's Comprehensive Guide To Star Wars Collectibles and Gus & Duncan's Guide To Star Wars Toy Prototypes, will also be available.

Mr Tree said: “The idea of the event is to help return to the roots of Star Wars collector gatherings in the 90s, which were pretty much wiped out with the advent of eBay.

“Unlike other well established areas of toy collecting, vintage Star Wars toy collecting has become a solitary existence, so the show helps bring back the sociable element, gives collectors a chance to network and physically see new items rather than interact only through pictures online.

“Between Gus and Duncan they have the widest knowledge of Star Wars collecting from around the world, from 1977 right up to the current day.”
