Dogs Trust in Newton Tony is holding a Christmas Fair on Sunday, December 9 and is hoping a local firm might come forward to donate a tree to be put up at the rehoming centre.

Dogs Trust Salisbury supporter relations officer Jo Blake said: “It’s the season to be jolly, so do come along to our Christmas fair and join in the festive fun. “We are desperately hoping local residents who are dotty about dogs will help make this an extra special Christmas for Dogs Trust Salisbury.

“Please show your support by donating a Christmas tree so we can turn the rehoming centre into a waggy wonderland.”

Visitors to the fair, to be held from noon to 3pm, will be able to get the Christmas shopping done while helping to raise money to support the work being done by the charity.

Donations of food and bedding for the dogs will be most welcome.
