WILTSHIRE Police investigating the theft of a collection tin want to identify two people from CCTV images.
The theft happened on November 8, when a collection tin for the Poppy Appeal was stolen from the counter of Majestic Wines in Southampton Road.
Police have released CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to in connection with the theft.
PC Graham Briant said: “Someone stealing from a charity is almost unthinkable and will offend most people in the community. It will be especially hurtful to those connected to the charity itself and the armed forces. I would urge anyone who might know who these people are to contact me as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information can contact PC Briant at Salisbury Police Station on 101.
