Toys worth £700 stolen from shop
1:39pm Monday 3rd December 2012 in News By Morwenna Blake
TOYS worth £700 were stolen from a Salisbury shop.
The trolley-load of toys were taken from the Smyths store in Churchill Way West on Monday, November 26 when a man and woman were seen to walk out of the store without paying.
A 25-year-old man from Bournemouth and a 26-year-old woman from Poole have been arrested on suspicion of theft and released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police are appealing for information and would particularly like to speak to a woman who reported the incident to the cashier in the store.
Anyone with information is asked to contact LCI Jim Nicholson at Salisbury Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
