SALISBURY Cathedral held its spectacular Advent Procession at the weekend, attended by more than 5,000 people.
Held over three nights, the services began with the cathedral in total darkness before the Advent candle was lit.
The services included music and readings, during which two great candlelit processions made their way through the medieval building.
By the end of each service, the cathedral was illuminated by almost 1,300 flickering candles.
