A NEW headteacher has been appointed at the Cathedral School in Salisbury.
Clive Marriott, who is currently deputy headteacher of St Paul’s Cathedral School in London, will take up his new position in September next year following the retirement of Paul Greenfield.
The chairman of governors, The Dean of Salisbury the Very Revd June Osborne, said: “I am delighted that Clive Marriott has accepted our invitation to become headmaster. Although it was a very strong field, Clive’s experience and personality made him the outstanding candidate.
“I believe he is perfectly equipped to make a great success of the post and I suspect that this will be an especially popular announcement with the children who met Clive.” Mr Marriott said: “I look forward to joining the school at a very exciting time and working with all members of its community.”
