Singing and signing at schools
5:09pm Monday 10th December 2012 in News By Hannah White
TWO Salisbury schools have signed up to take part in a charity world record breaking attempt for the most people singing and signing simultaneously.
Pupils at Greentrees Primary School and Leaden Hall will take part in the occassion, which has been organised by the charity SignHealth, on February 6.
The event will be SignHealth’s third and it hopes to involve more than 175,000 youngsters across the country.
There is a suggested donation of £1 for everyone taking part and the money raised will be used to continue the charity’s work helping to improve the mental and physical health and wellbeing of deaf people.
Schools that would like to take part are being invited to register their interest at sign2sing.org.uk.
