A FITNESS coach from Salisbury has been signed up as a food ambassador to support celebrity chef Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution (JOFR).

Angela Ross, 42, founder of Physique Boot Camp, has become part of a global movement that allows people who love food to come together to share information, pass on their knowledge and highlight the world’s food issues.

The first Food Revolution ambassador program was launched this year to inspire, educate and empower people, and this year’s volunteers hope to make Food Revolution Day on May 17 next year even stronger.

Oliver said: “This is all about people power. If enough of us stand up and say that we care about where our food comes from and that we demand better food education for our children, then the governments of the world will start to listen. Ambassadors like Angela are doing an incredible job and I can’t wait to hear about what everyone’s doing in May.”
